The Naracoorte P&A Society has been successful in gaining $301,000 in federal government funding as part of the Regional Agricultural Show Development Grants program, which we applied for last year.
The money will enable us to renovate and extend our existing facility at the Naracoorte Showgrounds to incorporate a modern exhibition hall, board room, kitchen, toilets, storage rooms and upgrade the car parking area.
Keep an eye out for the project’s progress on our Facebook page as work commences in coming months. We will be using local tradespeople and doing our bit to help kick start the local economy after these unprecedented times.
This facility will not just be for show day but for the whole community to make use of throughout the year.
